Yuppie Puppy Studios - GROOMOLOGY^® brand of services, defines animal (pet) grooming as more than just an Art. Where other pet-groomers may use your pet as the canvas to practice their artistic talent; Yuppie Puppy Studios, GROOMOLOGIST^® view the grooming of your pet as more than just an art but a science of applied knowledge as well as skills. Art can not be just the finished look accomplished for you and your pet lifestyle needs. Our Art is safe and a result of applying many sciences. A pet owners needs and a pet owner dogs lifestyle often requires modifications from what is accepted as the customary show dogs breed image by those that groom only for the art of the groom. The Art vs Science of the groom  is a decision process. Requiring science related knowledge to be applied before, during, and after the groom.   

Yuppie Puppy Studios -  GROOMOLOGIST^® of GROOMOLOGY^®   include related studies in the Science of professional pet-grooming. Before a  pets handling and groom can even start, knowledge of a pets personality (breed temperament) health and physical limitations needs to be evaluated and understood.  The humane handling and grooming skills health and safety  procedures are dependent on academic knowledge.  Our GROOMOLOGIST have acquired this knowledge studies we call - THE SCIENCE OF GROOMOLOGY GROOMONICS _sm . Academic related science studies we require of our pet-grooming and pet-hygiene care staff. These studies qualify our animal grooming practitioners to be certified and called GROOMOLOGIST^®. Our pet hygiene care staff are known as BATHOLOGIST_sm  Often the Bathologist is the first to handle a pet so they are also required to acquire a level of academic knowledge in the Art and Science,  Health and Safety of  professional pet grooming.

Our professional pet grooming and Health, Hygiene and Sanitation Standards is an important policy for you, and your pets health. Such Standards are a required educational study and practice for our GROOMOLOGY^® staff.

Professional pet grooming has unregulated unknown health risks and these health risks to pets and pet-groomers are greater when provided by those with out health related science knowledge and training. Health Risks to pet owners and pets, have to include environmental and occupational health hazards pet-groomers are exposed to. Pet owners that use pet-grooming facilities that don't require proof of pet vaccinations is the first sign your  pet owners such a grooming facility may be a risk to their pet. Even pets that have vaccinations; having a health condition or senior in age can still be at risk is such an such a pet-grooming environment.
